Car
accidents represent a large percentage of
serious back injury cases in the United
States. The stress put on the spinal column
in a car collision can cause the disc that
separate your vertebrae to shift. As a
result, the discs push out into the spinal
channel and press against spinal nerves,
producing severe back, neck and leg pain. If
left untreated, serious back problems may
lead to chronic pain, which results in lost
productivity at work and an overall decrease
in patients’ quality of life.
If you have suffered an injury as a result
of a car accident, Dr. Zhao and her staff at
RPAC are |
|
prepared to put you on the path to recovery. Dr.
Zhao and her staff will arrange all diagnostic
tests to clearly define the area of pain to better
treat any injuries that interfere with patients’
daily activities and cause them pain. Individuals
involved in an automobile accident, no matter how
minor, should consider seeking medical care if
symptoms arise such as joint or muscle pain,
swelling, bruising, stiffness or unexplained
headaches. At RPAC we will be happy to assist you
with the necessary paperwork to file your claim.
In the event your accident involves a legal case,
Dr. Zhao will give testimony to the details of
your injuries and your future medical costs if
applicable. Remember, just because you had a
“fender bender” do not discount the need to seek
medical care. Your symptoms could indicate a much
more serious injury than you might think.
